ABOUT

As a boy growing up in rural Ontario, I collected stamps -- Canadian stamps in particular. My early interest has grown into a passion for both the beauty and history those images represent.

 

Inspired by a deep pride in my country, I feature stamps from our past, often choosing images that are quintessentially Canadian. I use these tiny national tributes, in many cases thousands of times over, to create large-format collages.

 

I was born in Exeter, Ontario and graduated from the Graphic Design Arts program at Georgian College in Barrie, in 1985. An exhibition of my work garnered The People’s Choice Award at the 2013 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.

 

I live in Horseshoe Valley.
